Ucount Support Services Inc

is a professional and personal counselling and education service that deals with a broad range of issues.

As part of a caring for people within our local community, Ucount offers counselling through a team of counsellors who are professionally trained.

 

We aim to be sensitive to and respectful to each individual

 

Aims and objectives

  • To offer support to those in the community who are facing personal or relational distress, trauma, grief. Hardship or isolation.
  • To offer community education programs in the region
  • To encourage, empower, equip and support people in their personal lives.
  • To assist people in developing and maintaining healthy relationships

 

Psychologist

Sometimes people need access to specialised counselling.

Psychologists are available at the Ucount centre for such purposes

Our available psychologists are registered for Medicare refunds. (A referral from a GP is necessary for bulk billing)

 

Confidential counselling is provided in the areas of:

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Family and relationship breakdown
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression
  • Communication and conflict difficulties
  • Child and adolescent issues
  • Pre-marital counselling (prepare/enrich)
  • Alcohol and drug use

A fee structure has been established based on a clients ability to pay, and will be negotiated with the Ucount Manager.

Nobody will be excluded for financial reasons

 

Cost per session

Standard sessions are for 1 hour

Fees based on ability to pay as we are a not-for-profit agency
